Monday Oct. 4th: Bowling Alley
This is Fair Lanes bowling. It’s located in the basement of one of the malls here in Halifax. Best definition of teenage wasteland I’ve ever seen. Except it’s not. The average patron at this bowling establishment is around 55 years old with a 2 pack a day habit.
Of further note: In Atlantic Canada we do it with small balls. 10 pins, and small balls. I don’t think there has ever been a perfect game bowled around here.
We had a birthday party for one of my friends here a year or so ago. There was an epic game of flip cup using water at around 3 in the afternoon surrounded by 10 year olds.
